Essay: Is animal testing necessary?

 Surfing the Internet on Twitter last night I found out some news and articles about animal testing. Some of them were supporting and another were against this idea. Because of the fact that I read a few of them, I partly change my opinion about this controversial topic. In addition to this I will write down the advantages and disadvantages from my point of view about this hot-button issue.

  I was completely against this practice after watching a lot of videos and articles. Since animals are living beings like humans and they also have feelings despite the fact that they are not rational like us. However I still firmly have the same idea about it now I believe that it is also necessary to keep testing animals but the method should be less harmful for them as I think that they suffer.

 My mind slightly changed when I read articles that supported the theory of animal testing. They said that it is the only form or at least the best to improve humans' lives. After reading it I stopped for a second to rethink about it. Finally, I came to the conclusion that if we want to improve our daily lives by making new medicins. Unfortunately,  nowadays the best way to do it is animal testing.

 Overall, in spite the profits that animal testing has; I reckon that another method should be used. As a result of it animal testing should be banned or at least restricted because of as I said before, animals suffer.
